Terms and Conditions – Travel Gear Rentals

Thank you for renting your travel items from Famille on the go. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By renting any item, you automatically agree to these terms.
1. User Responsibility
The renter assumes full responsibility for all rented items from the time of delivery until they are returned to Famille on the go. This includes:
• Any loss, theft, or damage (partial or total)
• Any misuse, modification, or negligence
2. Damage, Loss or Theft
No security deposit is collected at the time of booking. By accepting the rental, the renter authorizes Famille on the go to charge the card on file for applicable costs in the event of loss, theft, or damage to the rented item.
Normal wear resulting from appropriate use does not incur any charges.
In the event of repairable damage, only the reasonable cost of repair or restoration will be charged following a good-faith assessment. This evaluation may be discussed with the renter.
In the event of loss, theft, or major damage rendering the item unusable, an amount of up to 80% of the replacement value of the item may be charged.
3. Item Care
All items are cleaned and inspected prior to each rental. The renter agrees to:
• Use the items with care
• Avoid exposure to extreme conditions
• Return items in clean and functional condition
Cleaning fees: No charges apply for normal wear resulting from appropriate use. However, if an item is returned in a condition requiring unusual cleaning or restoration, a fee of up to $30 may be charged to cover the associated costs.
4. Limitation of Liability
Famille on the go cannot be held liable for any incidents, accidents, injuries, losses, or inconveniences resulting from the use of rented items.
Use is at the renter’s own risk.
5. Return Policy
Items must be returned on the agreed date. Any delay will incur additional fees of $10 per day.
6. Cancellation Policy
A 10% fee applies to rental cancellations to cover transaction costs. This fee is calculated on the rental amount.
• Cancellation more than 7 days before the start date: full refund minus the 10% fee.
• Cancellation within 7 days of the start date: 50% refund minus the 10% fee.
7. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a rental through our website or partner platforms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.
