Sun Protection Measures
Spending time in the sun increases the risk of skin cancer and premature skin aging. To reduce this risk, regularly use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 and adopt additional sun protection measures such as limiting time in the sun (especially between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.) and wearing long sleeves, pants, a hat, and sunglasses. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating and immediately after towel drying.
